Dusting the Cobwebs of this Blog

I don't quite know where to begin having not blogged for a long time. After Mak's passing, life goes on and everyday when I feel like that day is the worst day ever, I remind myself to be grateful with my lot in life.

I was reading this blog of an old friend from primary school recently. She works in this same organization as I do.  She is also a friend on Facebook.  The reason for this mention is No1 she has quite a following (her blog friends are called MakCik Bloggers) and No 2 she seems to blog about her busyness in her legal profession in this company as well as her interaction with the who's who in this organization.

I wonder why one attributes such importance to their work. I admit I have a problem with that.  Another peer, in any meetings or just bumping into each other at San Francisco Coffee, without fail will tell me that she has a lot to deal with, working late and rolling her eyes at the same time she is describing to me her workload.  It is as though having a lot to deal with workwise is a source of competitive edge.

That is why I sometimes like to hang out with guy colleagues because they think like me and that all this is a big joke!

Oh well, let me post the goings on in my life in another post.  This was just a piece to dust the cobwebs away from my blog.
