Planning for Hari Wilayah Chinese New Year break

I am now planning for the Hari Wilayah Chinese New Year almost a week break already.  Can you believe that?  I have an insatiable need for vacations......

And the choices are.........and in no particular order....

1. Singapore - fly to Singapore, stay in a halal hotel, and off to Universal Studios we go
2. Cherating, Pahang - our usual stay at Eastern Pavillion, hoping that Pyl will go as well and we will have a micro gathering with dear friend Jie....
3. Kota Kinabalu - tempted by Arlin's beautiful photos.....Kundasang, KK, the like....
4. Phuket, Thailand - been wanting to go there for a long time....

Major consideration is Harith and a nice, short break where we don't need another vacation after coming back from this vacation.....

Most likely a choice between no 1 and 2....
